Hi, I see on the forum other DIY MM board. Myself i use one from Mikroe and another 2 from Techtoys. The TechToys one is more practical due to the 5v for the KB but the MikroE board is more ... portable From MikroE i use the PIC32MCUcard2 , you have to solder the chip on it because they don't offer one with the 32mx795f512. MikroE test board From Techtoys i use the 'Evaluation Board for Microchip 100-Pin General Purpose MCU'. After contacting John Leug from Techtoys it was possible to get the board empty with just the components needed for the PIC32 and the 3.3v supply for a great price. As for the MikroE board you have to solder your PIC32. After a little modification for the USB it run like a charm with the UBW32 V2.7B version of the MM. TechToys Board And a picture from my MM Chaos test bench On this picture you see that i use a French AZERTY KB , can someone tell me where i can get the UBW32 V2.7B source code that i can change the KB Layout ? Actually only the source from the V2.7A is in the download list. Cheer Theory is when we know everything but nothing work ... Practice is when everything work but no one know why ;) |

That USB version of the MikroE board is interesting. It has all the filter caps and crystal plus the USB connector layout on board. That could easily be the guts of a Maximite. www.elproducts.com |

Yes, Geoff produced a version of MM basic for the UBW32, which is essentially a raw 100pin PIC32 board. - Rob. For crying out loud, all I wanted to do was flash this blasted LED. |
