Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All,

For anyone interested in wireless communications using the Maximite I have designed an add on.
I have written a code library and an application using this library which demonstrates its use. The application for the Maximite using this library, receives data from my Electricity Smart Meter monitor (Picaxe micro) and made a perfect test bed for development of the project.

Full details and code are available on my web site.

I'm impressed with the method of optical coupling to detecting the LED meter pulse off the kWh meter.

Hi Mike,

I think you have an error in PICAXE schematic? D3 and D4 LEDs... or those are lighted when no power?
