Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Maximite Computer LCD Arduino Shield Project.

I have just posted the Maximite LCD Arduino Shield project.

LCD driver for standard 16 x 2 LCDs
Originally by Geoff Graham, March 2011,
Modified for Arduino by Mick Gulovsen July 2011

This modification includes reading the switches. As the Maximite reads the A/D at 3.3V, Mick has made a simple modification to allow the switches to be read fully by the Maximite. This involves a resistor network voltage divider, and shows the modifications to the PCB. Two resistors, one track cut.

Schematics and all other relevant files are available from:
http://www.themaximitecomputer.com/max/Programs/
Then Select Hardware, then Dontronics, then LCD

LCD product will be available soon from:
http://www.dontronics-shop.com/arduino-shield-lcd.html

However you will need a DonDuino Cross Kit to make it work as a shield.

Cheers Don...

Don,

Speaking of the Donduino Cross, check your website prices. The bare board at $8.95 is more expensive than the full kit ($6.95)!

Rob

unzip, strip, touch, finger, grep, mount, fsck, more, yes, fsck, fsck, fsck, umount, sleep

Do you just get the bare board at that price, on the page you were looking at Rob?
What is the URL of the page at $8.95?

Hint: How much for four?

I didn't think it was that ambiguous, but I'll add whatever text it takes to make it clearer.

Cheers Don...

Yes, that is the price of the bare board.
You can get many options in the kit including just a bare board.

I just dropped off the word kit from the short description, so that the entry doesn't say kit.

Does that make more sense perhaps.
