Manual p38 Special Device Support, p39 Infrared Remote Control Transmitter.
Shows how to drive an IR led from a Pico. There is the IR SEND command for Sony codes and recently posted subroutines for sending NEC, JVC, Samsung and Philips codes.

To record the codes you wish to send there are associated Rx subroutines, and the IR command. The manual shows how to connect an IR receiver to do that.

I doubt if you'll find one. They are made specifically for pieces of equipment. If you can find one as a NEC or Sony spare part then the Pico might be able to read it from MMBasic. As for finding one with just Phono Tape CD and possibly power buttons I doubt if there are any now. Everything has a lot more options. You may have to either build one (maybe use a RP2040-Zero, a IR transmitter and some buttons) or relabel anything you can get.
