Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Nice one Rob I was looking at it from a hardware point of view simply because I was just working on the type of reset switch for my MicroMite Module. Your idea is much easier for pal cal to try. For everything Micromite visit micromite.org Direct Email: whitewizzard@micromite.o |

Hi guys, Just thinking now this has gone past my troubles this thread has some good info for troubleshooting so a rename of the thread may be a good idea. That if members have a similar problem it will be easier to find. Glenn would have to rename it and maybe 'serial connection problem' may be an option. Regards bryan |

Hi! It's a normally behavior with the startup message. I can see the message with my µMite with MAX3232 and a separate USB-RS232 converter and powered with battery. => COM-Port is open with Teraterm and the message appears... With my second µMite with PL2303 and powered over USB I can't see any message. I can only open Teraterm after PL2303 has registered by Windows. In that time is the message gone into the binary nirwana... Reboot with WATCHDOG 1 is a very goog Idea!!! Frank |
