Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I've been playing around with i2c modules and the uMite. With RTC, one needs a way of modifying the clock registers other than a fixed "set up" array. Using a keypad, the appropriate register can be selected and the register data overwritten. The example in the zip file uses my keypad and LCD modules, but is easily adapted to commercially available units. Also, my source/hex code is available if someone wants to make mine. Also, I have left out range and error checking for simplicity. 2014-02-20_010607_uM_RTC_LCD_KEYPAD_EXAMPLE.zip David M. |
