Just wanted to share my first try (and successful :) ) engraving.

Today i did a test engraving our Bangkok MakerSpace logo on a piece of anodized aluminum.
I first wanted to use my phone but my better judgement told me to use something else.
So looking around i found my Salea logic analyzer and the result is pretty good, the size of the logo is 5x5cm:

For me this opens up a way to make nice front plates and other stuff.
The tiny thing was engraved by this:

(It can cut bigger things too)
Like a cardboard template:

To trace it and paint it on the wall:

Sorry if this was off topic, just got excited by getting it to work)

Looks very good.

What is the model of the engraver used?

Also what kind of resolution does it claim?

Hi WW,
It is an imported chinese made one. I bought it locally as i like to have people available for repairs and spare parts.
I paid a premium for that but i think it is worth.
This is where i bought it.
It claims 0.025mm resolution.

I am still new to this so i will have to find a way to actually be able to measure that.

Just out of interest, how long did the engraving take on the Logic Analyser?

Sweet.
