Hi All,

I have a nice little bluetooth-keyboard laying around and thought this would fit the TFT MM nicely.
Can anyone tell me if it would work to use a PS/2-to-USB Adapter and a USB bluetooth module connected to the PS/2 port at the TFT MM ?
Or would it work to attach a BT-RS232 module to one of the serial ports ?
Or are the protocols so much different that there's no hope?
I could do the coupling of BT-Stick to the BT-keyboard on a PC first and then attach the stick to the MM.

Any hope ?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Peter

That will not work.
A PS/2 to USB Adapter doe snot what the name implies.
It is just a physical adapter not a protocol changer.
Many keyboards detect on what kind of connector is used.
If you plug it into a real USB the chip in the keyboard will use that, if it detects ps/2 then it will fall back on that part in the firmware.

If you plug a usb-bluetooth module in a ps/2-usb adapter in reality you are connecting a usb bluetooth module to a ps/2 port. That will fail.

I have tried a few wireless keyboards that have a receiver that you plug into a usb. The one i had (sorry don't remember the exact type) had the keyboard chip in that module and switch happily to ps/2. They are not that common anymore because of bluetooth.
