Hello, Just one question: After updating my mega in basic v4.4a, I noticed that the pin 11 is level high at boot , as I know on the mega duinomite pin 11 is connected to a com port, this may be normal ... I still find it strange and troublesome. So... Normal ? Thank you for answer. Lorenzo |

On the Mega pin 11 is driven by the on board RS232 interface, so it should be high which is the idle condition for serial I/O. Are you saying that it was different in previous versions of MMBasic? Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Hi Geoff, You are right, I tested since version 3... And It's the same thing. It bothers me because I wanted the level is low at boot card, now, I think the only way is to unsolder the resistor connected to this port .. I still think the Duinomite MEGA and EMEGA has not been very well studied by OLIMEX, add of some simple micro-switch and the user had the choice between two behaviors of some I/O ports of these cards ...as there are not many. Thank you for the answer. I am really impressed by your reactivity and quality of your work. Lorenzo |
