Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

The new 4.3A/R4 firmware for the DTX2-4105C module is out. It brings an intelligent help system in the editor and from the command line (all this thanks to the great work of Bryan1), support for hidden files in the A: drive, improved DIR command and a few other small improvements and fixed bugs, the main one of which with the RTCC driver. Download from here: http://www.dimitech.com/downloads/dtx2-4105c_mmbasic.zip I recommend this update to all owners of DTX2-4105C modules in order to enjoy reliable work with the real-time clock and easier programming thanks to the built-in help. The help system itself is an ongoing development and will keep improving both in accuracy of the AI (yes, there is a bit of simple AI there ;) ) and as text content. http://rittle.org -------------- |

Thanks Bryan, in the next revision (probably) there will be active help as well. In the editor if you press F1 over a keyword, it will bring up the help page for it. The editor itself may need some revitalisation, but that is going to take more time to happen. I hope the next revision will be 4.4/R5, not 4.3A/R5... http://rittle.org -------------- |

I think I know the problem. If you are using a keyboard with separate arrow keys and numeric block that would happen. Try to use the dedicated arrow keys instead of the ones in numeric block. Another possibility is that your terminal emulation has not been set to VT100 but (probably) TTY. Geoff has a good instruction in his MMBasic manual about how to setup the terminal software. http://rittle.org -------------- |

i've mversion 4.78 manual report instruction to how to configure version 4.71 (i followed it however) carefully reading help manual of tera term i found that in tcp/ip setup menu could be configured terminal type, i tried "vt100", "VT100", "Vt100", "vT100", "VT-100" etc but without success :( EDIT: i fixed the problem, i deleted the ini file and, don't ask me why but if i change the delay msec/line from 0 to 50 the cursor key and all function key start to trasmit escape codes (esc[A esc[B etc..) resetting back to 0 (ZERO) the escape codes are suppressed and i can move cursor and press function key in the regular way, AT LAST!!! |

Juri, I am on a short holiday in Bright, Vic at the moment and not around any MM but when I return early next week, I will give you exact instructions what to do, based on the TeraTerm setup I have. http://rittle.org -------------- |
