Hello all, I just upgraded to MMBasic 4.4B1. I don't know if it's a result of the upgrade, but the MM (original mono) no longer shows up as a serial port in Device manager. It works fine when plugged into a monitor. Any one know what could cause this behaviour? It did work before. Regards, Bob Devries Dalby, QLD, Australia |

Further details... I usually plug the MM into the PC via a USB hub. If I plug it in directly to a USB port on the computer, it works fine, but not on the hub. Comments? Bob Devries Dalby, QLD, Australia |

Bob, That sounds similar to a problem I had earlier in the year. Try clearing unused com port allocations by the method TZ found. It's in thread Tbs link James My mind is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention. Hedley Lamarr, Blazing Saddles (1974) |
