Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Greeting from Vancouver,

I'm testing CMM(UBW32) and MM in an academic enviroment now. An CtrlC enable/disable command is highly desired. I'm wondering if somebody there has the same needs. And I think this is a question for Geoff.

I don't have a pressing need for it, but I know I would use it if it were available.

Why would you want to disable CTRL-C?

It is automatically disabled when there is an XMODEM file transfer in progress and other than that all input from the keyboard/USB should be from a human.

Hi Geoff,

thanks for quick answer, the MM is an integral part of testing equipments which are controlled by trained operators. They have to fill some kind of forms first before testing starts. If they accidentaly press CtrlC (instead ie. ShiftC) the program stops. Using the "Continue" command does not always work . This happens from time to time and it is really annoying for supervisors.
