Hi All

I have been playing with my new CSCOLORMAXI and have found that
when I remove the SD card and reinsert it the CSCOLORMAXI does not
read the card unles the power is recycled.

is the a problem with the CSCOLORMAXI or both the colour maximite and the
CSCOLORmaxi or the type of SD card i am using.

This SD card worked OK the my old maximite without and problems.

SC Card - Lexar SDHC Platinum II 8 gig

Hi Bill,

Without a cct I cannot be sure if Rob has designed a card inserted switch on the SD card.

I can assure you though that the Colour MM can and does detect the card is inserted and replaced (it uses a microSD connector).

I tried this on the UBW32-MCC PCB I designed and it indeed worked as expected.

PIC Pins 82 (D5) and 83 (D6) should be GNDed when the SD card is inserted and Not write protected.

Regards,

Mick

Hi Mick

The socket for the SD card on the CSCOLORMAXI is a simple design with only the 9 contacts for a standard SD card. It appears that there is no insersion switch or
eject mechanisum.
