Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

4.0 of MMBasic had an issue with some monitors. Try 4.1 which fixed that particular problem. BTW, I have just got my CGCOLORMAX1 and Rob has done a fantastic job on it. MMBasic runs perfectly (I tested it) and I plan to test all future versions on it before release. Fully assembled and at that great price it is the perfect alternative to building a kit. What intrigued me most is that with its prototyping area it makes a great controller. If you don't need the colour output you can turn it off and you have a fast controller with a lot of I/O. Top of my list now is to add support for RS485 on the CGCOLORMAX1. With Mick's excellent adapter board for the UBW32 we now have have a good range from the build-it-yourself kit through to a fully assembled board, each with their own set of advantages. Hi Geoff, I have flashed the latest version of MMbasic V4.1 and it fixed my VGA problem. If John Harding builds your latest version of MMbasic to include his CAN commands will you include them in future versions for the Colourmax1? I will be building a CAN port onto the prototype area very soon, just need to find out which pin numbers to use for TX and RX and which ones (if the pins are exposed or not) are on my new Colourmax1. Thanks, John Lopez |

Hi John, Yes, I hope to now put CAN into 4.2. See my post in your other thread. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Observant readers might have noted that the price for the CGCOLORMAX1 has remained stuck at $49.99. Part of that was because, um, I forgot to bump the price up after the pre-order period. When I did notice, I just decided to leave it at $49.99. Since I would be changing the design a bit for revision two, I may as well just leave the discount in place until the rev 1 boards are gone. -Robert Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |
