Hi Vasi,

Interesting article about heat.. I have been looking at some of the DC-DC converters that are available on the net..

A few options here:

Single Output

Dual Output

I have ordered both of the above for experimenting...

These should be able to power any mite and most peripherals without excess heat..

Has anyone had any experience with them?

Looks that Dual Output one gives much higher Amps, but with much lower source voltage than the single one.
