Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hej!

I was wondering if anyone has powered a USB device and interacted with it with the Duinomite. I am working on a datalogger and I am almost there but for one thing....I need to have the 5v,D+/D- out to USB. I vaguely remember or imagined that I needed some sort of jumper to use the OTG function. I am working with STICKOS for this project and it can log data to a USB Stick very fast I am told. I am sampling 6 ADC ports at 4 kHz each port which has amazed me! The timer functions are pretty cool although I find myself missing DMBASIC/MMBASIC sometimes...really miss the GOTO!

Any ideas?

no need for jumpers but your firmware should have USB host functionality implemented
indeed having BASIC with no GOTO seems to me quite weird too :)

Hej!

Does the duinomite firmware support this feature? Do I need to update the firmware? How do I know if I need to update it?

I am so close to using this as a solution and at this point it would be great as the write speeds for USG Hosting on this chip are very very fast!

I have the mega and the mini....

I guess when you mean firmware you mean DMBASIC or STICKOS. I am running STICKOS. I like a it a lot by the way. Love the .25 millisecond counters. Very useful. According to the website it supports the feature USB Host mode for the PIC32MX795 microcontroller.

If StickOS supports that, then it should work. Try it :)
