Hello all.

The memories of the years 80/90 are far away,

but I could not resist to make a small, small intro with a simple Sudoku.

The game works with PAL and VGA video. The intro to the video VGA has a graphic error: it appears from time to time a character in column 51 When scrolling the text. I could not remove it. The game works fine.

I have to put additions like to save the game, return to the menu of choice and so on.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Raros

Very good job! I like the introduction screen

When I first loaded it I got a syntax error, but I was running MMBasic 3.0. I updated to 3.1 and the game worked perfectly.

I have never played Sudoku, so I had to look it up in google.

Well done. One for the User Program Library.

Hi.

Thanks Glenn.
It true I had to specify that it was for 3.1.
I would like to implement the save of the game and its load.
I have to do some testing with the commands OPEN, PRINT and INPUT.
The variables involved are a(8,8,1) and Timer. Only 163 variables.

Raros.

Nice one Raros. Good to see the MPF bitmap code in use... Until LOADBMP comes along in the next MMBasic update perhaps. Which reminds me, I wonder how Nick's PacMan is coming along?

Cheers.

Hello all.

Here's SUDOKU for Maximite version 1.0 (final?).

2012-02-21_064559_MMSudoku10.zip

Features:

Requires MMbasic v3.1.
Three types of difficulty: Easy, Medium and Hard.

In the empty grid you can enter numbers and key lock.

If a number is repeated on the same row or column or box failure is reported.
Save and load the game.

Sorry the comments were mixed English and Italian.

Raros

There is an error in the horizontal scrolling of
text I wrote instead of BLACKFIRE BLAKFIRE.
The letter 'C' has been lost.......

Corrected.
