Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

DuinoMite.com I just put together: http://www.DuinoMite.com which will hopefully give the DuinoMite an individual identity, as I feel the constant comparisons between the MaxiMite and the DuinoMite isn't achieving a great deal. The DuinoMite Newsletter Subscription page is at: http://www.dontronics-shop.com/mailing-list-dontronics-newsl etter.html This will keep you up to date with DuinoMite Firmware and other News Merry Christmas to all from the DuinoMite Team, and have a great 2012. Cheers Don... https://www.dontronics.com |

Sounds good, the Duinomite Series are competent products that needs to be promoted as a separate but related product range. Duinomite.com sounds a Great concept. Open Source means adaptation & innovation not just cloning. In 2012, my Maximite.com.au will cover the Maximite & MMBasic for the purists, and also the variants including my own version. Duinomite, Maximite, UWB32 & the ?????Mite will mutate/develop into separate but related projects. The world is big enough for ALL the PIC32 Based modules to co-exist, and be united against the common enemy! TTL Logic VK4MU MicroController Units |

Hi Don Is there a standardised location for firmware versions? Currently there seem to be versions appearing in different topics on this forum but I am not sure they are approved software. It's also not obvious to me where to look on Duinomite.com for the latest official releases. Thanks and best regards Steve |

Hi Steve, Don hosts the latest releases on his site and here is the link . now also hosted there is the latest 'help' file too aswell as a heap of other goodies. By pressing the first link(folder with the arrow) it will take you back one step and such. All files can be located in sections and it is a very handy way to do it. Regards Bryan |

Hi Bryan Thanks for the link. There are also firmware versions on topics in the forum. For example the 1wire fixes published today. But I suppose these are not official and will migrate to the release directory over time. If I could suggest a direct link to "Firmware" from the front page of the site, it would probably save people a lot of time. Regards Steve |

I am somewhere between a Tornado and two cyclones right now. (Back in Darwin). DuinoMite.com was only set up a few days ago, so I have to edit 37 million links to make it all mesh in correctly. Unfortunately Olimex point to a file with a file name. When the file name changes, the link no longer works, and every page that was ever written with that link in place, is no longer valid. When I point to a file, I point to a directory. This means you have a copy of all firmware files, as long as the directory continues to exist. And that is why there are several copies of the firmware. So you can blame me for that. I am the one that updates the files within 5ms of getting them, so if you follow mine, you will be pretty close to correct. You can follow the new firmware by subscribing to the DuinoMite Mailing list. I have just spent a little time on the main navigation links at DuinoMite.com If there is a link, a file, or anything else that you find confusing at DuinoMite.com, please let me know and I will fix it. Cheers Don... https://www.dontronics.com |

I quite like links to a directory :) However, generally it seems you can't browse directories on the olimex site. Is that right? It's more than a bit pesky when you don't quite know the file name (URL), especially as they're case-sensitive. |
