Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hey Guys

If you have Windows 7 (Vista??) it has a neat program in Accessories (under Start, All Programs) called the Snipping Tool.

It allows you to copy any sized area on screen and save it as a jpeg file.

You can also highlight areas of text etc

I have these old blank PCB SimmSticks that I have been selling for $2

They can easily be adapted to do the job.

If you are placing an order for anything from me, just ask for 1 or 2 free DT203 boards, and I'll throw them in with your package.

Cheers Don...

aargee said   The resistor array to a common rail makes the circuit much neater, if you're building from scratch. That's how I did mine, it quite happily sits on the 20 I/O pins during most of my interfacing projects and gives an active indication as to what's going on.

I buy my resistor networks from Semtronics in Nunawading.

They have both the SIL & DIL versions.

In the case of the SIL, you can get them as packages of individual resistors or packages with a common.

Their prices are very reasonable for most components, but as they are a small company, they don't have the manpower to maintain a full web site.

See www.semtronics.com.au
