Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

perhaphs many of you know for the Android ADK or Accessory Development Kit this is small board which acts as USB host for any Android device and allow Android via dedicated API to access all hardware resources on the host board thus adding endless applications for adding gadgets and sensors to your android phone here is brief video from Microchip site so you get idea about it Video the same was implemented with Pinguino (with PIC32) too: Video Pinguino As DuinoMite and DuinoMite-Mega both have USB-OTG they could implement Android ADK too. I do wonder how hard is it be add in some future firmware? Just imagine what possibilities this open - Home automation, remote control of your heating or solar system, garage opener etc etc with remote control via Android phones Android Automation Tsvetan |

Thanks Vasi, great. A must view for anyone who doesn't understand Arduino Shields. I had seen the two videos Tsvetan mentioned. In fact he used one of them to convince me of the merits of the USB-OTG on the DuinoMite boards. Cheers Don... https://www.dontronics.com |
