Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I want to use my Maximite with my laptop as the terminal. Downloaded Terraterm but is a very old program and does not support USB. Anyone know of any free terminal emulator software. Paul. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

Download TeraTerm then this works from your USB port direct to the MM. TeraTerm is supported by a scripting language that allows you to do a range of smart things. http://ttssh2.sourceforge.jp/ You will need to configure as a serial port Enjoy your MM RayB from Perth WA |

Terra Term V4.70 does support USB connections. Your Maximite will show up as a COM port. Check in the Hardware manager to see which com port is the Maximite. Regards, Bob Devries Dalby, QLD, Australia |

We could probably use a set of Terraterm set up instructions, with screen shots. Anyone up to it? I'll be happy to put it on the site as a page we can refer people to in the future, and see if Don wants to add it to his Maximite page as well.
