Hi All (and Sundry),

Anyone know what Geoff used for a bootloader for this project? I can't find any details of it and need this for a special project (shhh, I'm not telling until it works).

Hi,

Try the UBW32 bootloader.

The UBW32 bootloader didn't work for me. I had to use the 2.1 Maximite with bootloader via a Pickit 3.
For crying out loud, all I wanted to do was flash this blasted LED.

Yes, just downloaded that tonight. Seems to have some useful hooks available there. Unfortunately I also discovered that my ICD3 is dead ... :( (thankfully a warranty replacement).

Depends what you're trying to do with it. Certainly you won't be able to load the Maximite firmware on top of it, because it's loaded in a different place in memory than the original. I think Geoff plans to look into that issue at some stage.

But that isn't what I wanted to do with it anyhow.
