Yes,
I love this discussion.
Exactly how I imagined Maximite being used when I first read about it.
Also why I pushed for Arduino shield compatibility so we didn't have to reinvent the expansion hardware.

This is a great.
Fact is we're just getting started here.

I added serial to my program for the EVO display unit

This software is realy cool you can set all sorts of conditions and sequences

jman, excellent example...
Would you care to publish the code you used for others to learn from? I've only done some small development using serial data from a picaxe many months ago as "proof of concept" but your sure leading the pack with what you have done from the MM camp.

First file is the mod file for ModCom

Second file is the Maximite Basic file for the EVO display

thanks for your code ^^^ john, combined with a hamfield serial card and modcon software , i had my maximite talking to my laptop. now to read your code to unravel the magic for my own needs :)
ps. i liked the line 70 trick too. it made me actually think. hehe
