Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Well done Glenn. All aboard Maxiteers. Geoff Graham posted a new schematic for the Maxmite while we were away. I have it linked from: http://www.themaximitecomputer.com/maximite-new-schematic-an d-idc-io-connector-correction/ And of course it is also on Geoff's page: http://geoffg.net/maximite.html This reverses the pin connections for the R/A male connector, which comes out the back of the Maximite case. and if you aren't aware:
OK as expected, Telstra have let us down again and extended the restoration date to NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!!! Considering I'm on a business line which is supposed to be repaired with 24 hours, I'm pretty pissed! Anyway, I've taken a copy of the forum database and images to my Dads place and used his internet to update the old server in Mackay. So you can now access the forum posts up to the time the lines when down, Tuesday morning. And I've enabled message posting, so you can once again post messages, etc. I have however disabled email notify, new registrations, and image/file uploads for a short time until I can restore internet to my home office. Once I get my connection back up, I'll transfer the database back, so no message posted will be post. I take data integrity very seriously. I still have no email services at this time, and very limited internet access. Yes, I will be ditching Telstra as soon as I can. Glenn
Cheers Don... https://www.dontronics.com |
