Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello.

Is it possible to configure an RP2350-PiZero to run MMBasic and use its built-in HDMI and USB ports?

I've read the manual extensively but can't find where to configure the GP settings for HDMI.

I've only found OPTION HDMI PINS, but I don't think that's the right one.

Thank you very much.

No: they use the wrong pins for the DVI output. PicoMite uses the HSTX peripheral to generate DVI and this is fixed on pins gp12-gp19

Oh.

Thank you so much for the quick response.

I'll try using it like a regular 2350.

Its a real shame about the HDMI pins,
Could have been a nice board otherwise.
At least PSRAM works and it seems to be stable
at max cpu clock

There's nothing to stop you from using its HDMI output socket with some external resistors to get a VGA display. Alternatively you could use the connections as GPIO pins or use some as an SPI port to feed a LCD display.

It's just a pity that they crippled it by not using the HSTX port for anything useful.

Correction, mine seems to max out @320Mhz, any higher and it sporadically hangs...

Erm...
"Max CPU clock" is 150MHz. Any faster than that is overclocking and isn't supported on the RP2350A or B.  ;) The module probably passes or exceeds every performance test for the RP2350 / Pico 2 with PSRAM.

If one will go any faster it's a happy bonus. :)
