hi, got hdmi usb 2350/pico 2 and added the sound filter... took ages to solder such a small simple circuit.
anyway I want to solder it to vero and can I use gp 16,17,18,19,20,21,22,26
as they all on same side of pico and using vero less horizontal wiring?
using gp 12,13,14,15,16,17,18.19 now.
I was gonna just solder the molex leads to vero, it would be electrically ok. they use ribbon cable in pcs

For Pico2 on the RP2350 chip, the HDMI connection pins are rigidly assigned to the GP12...GP19 ports, since a special HSTX serializer block is connected to them inside the chip.
Therefore, HDMI video output using this block is possible only on these pins.

Stan:
The pins that the HSTX uses for HDMI output are fixed and cannot be changed. They work as four pairs and all you can change is the order of the pairs within the group.

Personally I think it's misleading to to still call them GP12 to GP19 when you have the HSTX running. They aren't, and you can't use them as GPnn pins at all, they've gone. They are HSTX0 to HSTX7, which makes a lot more sense when you use the OPTION HDMI command.

Sorry, the HSTX pins are as movable as the GND pins are. :)
