Lately there has been a few inconsiderate or just down right nasty replies to posts. I'm getting tired of it. On most other forums the admins delete posts and members at the slightest hint of trouble. I've always preferred to keep an open forum, thinking that grown up people will have respect for others and post appropriately. But I just dont think its working. Post replies as if you were talking to the person face to face! Got it, simple rule. The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

I think we have all been guilty at one time or another Mac, I know I have. Its easy to forget we are communicating with real people when typing on a keyboard and looking at a screen. Its actually a big problem for social sites on the internet. The other common problem is what one person may consider to be a humorous dig, someone else might consider as a personal insult. In a face to face situation, a smile is all thats needed to say "I'm having a bit of fun, dont take it seriously", but thats hard to convey in typed words, and easily miss-interpreted.
