Hi Plasma

What sort of battery is it, lead acid or Lipo?
Desulphators work on lead acid batteries but I do not think they would be much use on a Lipo set.

All the best

Hi Plasma

I use them on all my batteries to keep them up as much as possible, I have found that with proper management and a desulphator you can double the life of a Flooded lead acid battery.

I have used them in various forms for nearly fifty years and do firmly believe they work but they are not the only thing to keep a battery alive all other management factors must be complied with.

I use them for bringing dead batteries back to life, have a look at the Battery rescue thread on the first few pages, some four years ago and these batteries are still going.

Maybe in Germany you just buy a new battery when the old one dies, no challenge to that, I like to see if I can make something old workable again, not efficient from a monetary point of view, but this is a hobby.

All the best
