Someone has finally built a successful Perpetual Motion Machine, it's advertised on Ebay have a look:

"3.5 watt . 96vdc 40A motor type battery charger. For constantly charging your solar battery banks non-stop. How this design works. The smaller motor you see is a 12vdc 200w DC motor. It is direct axel fed to a 48vdc 1000w motor. The two 12v 6a batteries are connected in series giving 24v and 12a making 288w. This turns the motors @ 4500rpm or so. When you mechanically turn a brushed motor it outputs power so the 1000w motor generates 96vdc at 40a or 3800watts. 500w at 30ohm is passed back from the generating motor sustaining the battery banks and leaving an excess of 3.5kw you can use to constantly charge the equal amount of battery banks in your solar power system. Instead of charging your batteries %25 of the time by your solar panel your are now charging them %100 of the time. A 3.5kw solar system will cost you $5999 and give you %25 efficiency if your lucky and barely pay itself off. For your money your lucky to break even on your spend in five years and they are big and cumbersome. These are 22cm by 12 cm. and are self perpetuating and excessively abundant. This system is stand alone and needs nothing else to power anything you want with a Pure Sine wave inverter. It will work 24-7 powering your house, caravan or boat and is very quiet when boxed for shipping. It is off grid meaning you need to disconnect the grid to plug it into your home, but mail me and I can make it grid tie for only a little extra cost. I was selling these purely as all purpose chargers and got a great response so I thought I would go one even better for you. Instead of just using this to charge your batteries you can have them power your house. Not for $3000 for 1.5kw that solar gives you on average. But 2kw for $1500 24-7 rain dark or shine. How I am doing this is passing the 96v and 30a or 3.5kw into 6 500w 30a resistors giving you 12.5v and 30a for your inverter and a total of 3kw going into two 1000w inverters and powering your home, caravan or boat. As I said, if you want to make this grid tie , and get your energy re-feed tariffs let me know. Or if you would like a system with more grunt. Say 5-10kw. And its all built with a quality motor coupling. I wonder why no one else has not thought of this idea, i rate it as great in design as buckets with holes in them, and about as efficent. 
And because of your great response he has also added more holes to the buckets to make it better for you.

I don't know, however I did report him but it did no good, the listing simply ran it's full term, at least he hasn't re listed it! All jokes aside, the sad part is that there could be people out there who are gullible enough to believe him and waste their money. Don There is always a 'Plan B'. |

And that's the bit that gets to me too. YouTube is full of videos showing running magnet motors, gravity motors, perpetual machines, and devices like the one above. All faked. Unfortunately many people wont know or understand the science that explains why these machines cant work, and are fooled into thinking these machines actually do work. Desperate for cheaper energy, they then go out and buy the parts to make one, spend hours or days trying to get it to work, and end up out of pocket and disheartened. Recall many years back, a potential customer, declared he had built such a machine that worked. Never seen it really my interest didn`t go that far. After spending a fair bit of time debating this I walked away believing he genuinely believed that was so. I guess we all have beliefs, that are not necessarily backed by reality.
