Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

The fully insulated tubular firebox that reaches very high temps, separate heat dissipating chamber and high speed venturi style flue is a big step up from my conventional slow combustion wood heater. I think I would reduce my wood consumption by 75% for the same heating effect, that's a lot less chainsawing.
I like the idea of a high efficiency wood heater, not just the saving in timber used in winter but also the stove top, wetback, consistent heat and the long burn times between reloads.

As much as I am trying to find a reason not to spend the money on a new heater, I'm am finding it pretty hard to resist.
I'm confused, no wait... maybe I'm not...
