Being a retired plumber as well as being notoriously thrifty (read that cheap), I've come up with a way to heat my entire house (1,200 square feet) for about $20 a month. That's the cost of one bar-b-q-sized tank of propane gas, which is my fuel of choice. It is readily available almost everywhere, stores and transports easily and with proper use, is safe for all practical purposes.

I designed a propane-fired heating system that is so efficient, it uses the heat generated by only a small, solitary flame and the exhause temperature at the system's termination point is no greater than ambient room temperature.

How can this be?

Well, I'm keeping the lid on this for the time being. It's about as close to real magic as you can get. I built a prototye and it worked like a champ. Next, I'll build an entire system and install it in my house to make sure I have all the bugs out, then I'll let the cat out of the bag.

With burning anything where you share Oxygen with your burning device there are some dangers, as it is tempting to skimp on ventilaton to prevent heat escape.

I was rather hoping you can design electrical heater/storage device, that you can use FREE overnight to heat and store heat for the next day and then use stored heat until it can run free the next night.

Suppose difficult to get that much heat stored on the cheap.

I'm with you on the buildup of carbon monoxide as well as the depletion of oxygen. Just to set the record straight, humans need a minimum of 14% oxygen to sustain life. That's not very much.

I have used my LP Gas "area" heater inside my bedroom for hours on end with the door and windows closed and with no ill effects. That's not to say I would go to sleep with it burning, but you get the point. The point is although there exists some danger, it's not a weighty one.

Also, the efficient-burning device I have designed (and built one successful prototype) employs a "draft inducer" and exhausts to the atmosphere, so there's absolutely NO danger of CO2, CO or water vapor damage inside the house. The only danger is if one were to touch the combustion chamber; that would result in a nasty burn, but who's that stupid?

As for storing heat, I think Mother Nature has taken care of that with it being contained within the liquid propane fuel. Just don't use it until there's a demand.
