Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

You knew about such a thing in the upcoming Linux Fedora 19 (few days remaining until the release)?
Bring 3D printing tools to Fedora and allow users of 3D printers, such as RepRap, to be fully satisfied with software in the repositories, without having to download binary blobs or run Python code from git.
The feature is complete 100%
Source.

Well, I would like Fedora developers to pay the same attention to microcontroller development tools, specially for PICs which are well represented by JALv2 and Jallib libraries.

___________
Edit:

To my surprise, gputils assembler and sdcc compiler for PIC microcontrollers are up to date. avr-gcc compiler comes at 4.7.3 version (Arduino is adapted to work with this new version) and there is also support for avr32 microcontrollers.

MATE Window Manager (the fork of GNOME 2) is at 1.6.1 version, and also a lot of goodies.Edited by vasi 2013-06-10
