Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Ok, so lets try this again.

14.6 volts + ( 10 amps * .6 ohm ) =20.6 open voltage

20.6 * 43 rpm per volt = 885.8 RPM

This is going to be done with 3 phase star design using 8 magnets and 6 coils. This is what I want to achieve with a Faraday disk design, single stator single rotor. I am not bothered by drive design as that has been achieved. What I want to ask is their anyone that can answer this simple question. I have 2-1/2" x 1" NIB N48 NEH ni coated magnets. I want to wind the coils with the proper wire size, and the proper windings per coil. This is the magic question. If you look at the formula above, you see it is achieved with 885.8 rpms. I want to do this with 221.45 RPM's. So,,,, now that you have my magnet size, who can tell me with fairly accurate or plausible coil - what the wire size and winding count would be. Regards.
