Well Mike, I looked and looked and looked at that website but found no mention of "super simple solar tracker". Sorry Mike, That ones been around for a very long time and still waiting for the revolution. Playing with refrigerant is an expensive way to do a job simply. Hi Gill, These freon trackers were the go in the 80's. No electrical or mechanical components. They would sway in a wind though. The tracker mentioned at the start of this thread is not of this type though. I think it refers to a 2 panel system, with a small panel driving a DC motor.
