Chookie i think your link is broken, i got some weird results each time i used it. Try this one. http://www.dmgrussland.com/en,advanced-technologies,afsuncar rier1 I wish i could afford all those panels lead alone the tracker. It certaintly a nice piece of equipment. Let us know when you buy one, as we will come around for a coffee and check it out. Pete. Sometimes it just works |

Yep looks like 34KW = roughly 200 panels = well over $150K in panels and inverters and I cant imagine that tracker costing less than $100K. concrete, foundation, the panel mounts themselves. simple piece of kit as far as trackers go though. Luck favours the well prepared |

Just had a look at the website, thanks for the link. What panels do you think they are? The pic in the magazine is 36 angled panels ( 6 rows of 6) on a square frame with the tracking system running a circular ring underneath. www.suncarrier.com has some pics of 240 units installed in Spain. Heh Pete when I can afford one it will be open house and drinks all round!! Smile - be happy - life is too short |

Chookie, When the day comes i will look forward to the personal invite (that is if we dont run out of sun before hand) After the install you can forget about being a Battery Hen and we will have Glenn reserve the name "Solar Chookie" for you. Pete. Sometimes it just works |

That sounds more like a 10 KW system. And l think you know what I think that should be 'worth', not cost! Karl and chookie ... now where have you seen that concept before, eh? There's also a similar setup for a solar coffee machine that I cam across the other day. Looks like the circular rail is made out of light (tramway) rail or similar. Neil. |

how about this little baby http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160438 825670 Unfortunately paypal buyer protection doesn't stretch quite far enough to cover the buy-it-now price otherwise I might be tempted even though it's on ebay :-) |

The link above appears to be broken.(it tends to happen when you dont use the post a link button above) Try this one. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160438 825670 I think they are dreaming with putting that on Fleabay and hoping for a buyer. Pete. Sometimes it just works |
