Does anyone have experience with Sungrid(SG-250M6)panels?

nope BUT that said the mob i used to work for spoke VERY highly of the sungrid panels so I'm sure they will be AOK.

Thanks for the comment Karl

If the choice had to be made between the following?

* 250 watt Sungrids
* Suntech Pluto 200 Ade
or Sunpower 210's WHT or 225WHT's (depending on what is available)

oh....any comments on Orion inverters welcome

any input or comments appreciated

orions are fine, transformerless quiet.
97+ efficient as for the test of time who knows!
cheap too

oh have you tried going to sungrid direct?
they are Perth based get their panels made in china

As the list of available inverters shrinks....

have you heard of Sunteam 5Kw from China Or CMS 10kW 3-phase inverter (carbon management systems) - think they must be a re-badged something else

CMS yes, dad's system uses 2 x 2KW CMS inverters.
about $1800 each so the right price.

My tip go direct to Neil, he can get his hands on the LATRONICS PVE2500 rugged and at just under $2400 the right price too.
oh and they are available now

Any comments specific to the CMS 10KW inverter? good or bad?

nope but as I said the CMS2000 appears a fine piece of kit with everything you need.
check out the aussie roo too, I think they are a rebadged fronius. all comes down to price vs efficiency go for the highest efficiency possible without costing the earth.
ie if 1%more efficient is it worth another $500. personally i dont think so look for 95%+.
